Harry Skinner Surveys is a family run chartered practice established in 1979. Specialists in topographic surveys, RTK and precise GPS, mapping, digital design and ground modelling, control and monitoring surveys and volumetric analysis.

We provide a personalised and expert service in the field of land surveying. Including environmental, highway, airfield and land development schemes, we have diverse and specialist experience in the UK and Caribbean. Backed up with the latest GPS, CAD, infra-red, laser equipment and technology, a high quality service helps us to maintain a portfolio of long standing clients.

Extensive work in the Caribbean and Bahamas over the last ten years has seen us enhance the local governments' mapping and survey resources on several islands with orthophoto production, monumented geodetic control installation, densification and transformation of historic control, grid and datum transformations as well as localised topographic surveys and the provision of engineering control and survey training.

Nationwide GIS asset capture, flood risk assessment, volumetric analysis and engineering survey control have complemented large and small-scale topographic surveys in both the public and private sector.

We are on the Environment Agency's approved list for land, GPS, river and channel surveys, and have worked throughout the UK on strategic flood risk assessment projects, threshold, river diversion, sea defence and bench mark surveys. We also have security clearance for unescorted work on MOD sites.
