Day 1: Planning & Programming
Aims
- To promote and foster an understanding of planning and programming in the tender and site management process.
- To consider planning techniques and project management principles. To practice some of the principles and techniques considered.

Day 2: Estimating
Aims
To consider the principles of tendering and to produce a robust and competitive tender under normal tendering conditions.

The workshop can be held either publicly or privately in-house. Laptop computers are required for the second day (one per team of three delegates). The tendering exercises will be carried out in isolation and three breakout rooms are required for this on day 2. This workshop is designed for civil engineers, quantity surveyors and other members of the construction team with 5 to 10 years of workplace experience.
